Storage length varies depending on the region and can change over time. Incidents such as collisions are permanently saved if National Traffic Video is made aware of the incident prior to the end of the retention period.
Northern Nevada: 2 weeks
Southern Nevada: 4 weeks
Maryland: 1 week

After searching for your video, a thumbnail preview will show the camera’s view at the given time and it is typically clear whether the incident was captured or not. Most cameras can pan, tilt, and zoom at any time. Any questions or concerns can be addressed with the contact form or by emailing us.
All videos are playable through VLC and are usually encoded in H264. Videos generally record in one hour chunks.
